Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly criticized her former friend, Tonto Dikeh, following Dikeh’s recent announcement that she has dropped the title “King” from her name.
TopSecretNews reports that Tonto explained the decision was in line with her spiritual convictions and appealed to the public to address her as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh.
Reacting to the development, Ogala accused Tonto of deceiving the public and portraying what she described as a false image. She further alleged that Tonto had interfered in her personal matters and contributed to the issues between her and Pastor Chris Okafor.
She wrote:
“No be you for Dey answer king. Ode. Dey deceive people with nonsense Christianity. GOSSIP LIKE YOU. Fake ass human being. U get luck I can’t say much. My talk is limited. Guys who is she looking like. Remember she was looking like me when I was fighting for her
“Now she’s looking exactly like the pastor’s wife. When they steal your destiny they start looking like you. This bastard has been the one behind my issues with Chris okafor, fueling it from back.”
The strained relationship between the two actresses is not new.
Last year, Doris accused Tonto of turning people against her and dismissed rumours suggesting she had received gifts from the actress. She also stated that they were never particularly close, explaining that their interactions were occasional and mostly took place in Abuja.
In the past, Doris described Tonto as distant and unkind, expressing regret over their association. However, she later made a public apology to Tonto and others, acknowledging that she may have overreacted due to personal struggles at the time.
